Communications & Marketing Intern – Autumn 2026 (August-December) Unpaid Internship – Full-Time Location: Copenhagen International School
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves, get creative, and gain hands-on experience in communications and marketing? We’re looking for a curious and motivated Communications & Marketing Intern to join our team for the Autumn 2026 semester.
This is an opportunity to put your skills into practice, experiment with ideas, and grow in a supportive environment where learning is part of the journey.
Who we’re looking for
You are:
- Currently studying a relevant degree (communication, marketing, design, media, journalism, or similar), and in at least your second year
- Available for the full autumn semester of 2026
- Genuinely interested in graphic design, digital communication, and content creation
- Comfortable using Canva or similar design tools
- Interested in writing, photography, and creating social media content (posts, stories, short-form video, etc.)
- Fluent in written and spoken English, which is our corporate language
- Already based in Denmark and able to be physically present in Copenhagen for the duration of the internship (CIS does not provide relocation support)
We value curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn just as much as existing skills. You don’t need to tick every single box to be considered.

Tools & equipment available
You will have access to:
- A Mac laptop
- An iPhone for capturing content on the go
- Cameras, microphones, and recording equipment
- A podcast studio and dedicated recording rooms

You’ll be part of the Admissions, Marketing & Communications team, working directly with Lan Yu Tan, Director of Communications, alongside three wonderful colleagues who are ready to support you throughout the internship.
